Writer & Composer

Over the last decade, Angela Lu has worked as a writer, researcher and editor for various publications including Los Angeles magazine, MTV News, The Deli magazine, Venus Zine, ArtSlant and All About Jazz. She is currently writing freelance articles and working on nonfiction and fiction stories.

Also a lifelong musician, she has studied, performed and composed classical piano music, experimental rock and bluesy jazz on electric guitar, traditional Chinese music on the pipa and erhu under erhu virtuoso Chi Li, and electronic music.
